Leo Nugent was born and raised in NYC, he served twenty years in the NYPD and just recently retired from the Narcotics/Gang Violent Crimes Detective Bureau with the rank of Sergeant Detective. He held the supervisory rank for over 11 years and has personally overseen small and large-scale investigations that led to successful federal and state prosecutions, most of which sparked media attention.
Mr. Nugent took his first leap into real estate in 2007 after watching HGTV programs. He started with his first purchase of a single-family flip. In 2008 the real estate market crashed and he like others went on a roller coaster ride.
Mr. Nugent did not give up, in 2015 he read Rich Dad Poor Dad and enrolled in a real estate course, and with the newfound education he has jumped back into real estate using the BRRRR method and currently holds multiple duplexes within the capital region. Mr. Nugent and his wife have been self-managing for just about nine years now, which has crafted their management skills to mirror that of his past career.
Leo Nugent relocated his family to the capital region and settled in the Saratoga area. He has doubled his investment strategy due to his recent retirement. However, not all was as smooth as this brief bio seems…
